The Opportunity
Brockville has skilled, creative residents with diverse knowledge in carpentry, welding, mechanics, and digital arts—but many lack access to adequate workspace, tools, and equipment due to a lack of resources or a disability. Creative Technology Workshop (CTW Brockville) will remove these barriers by providing a fully accessible downtown facility where aspiring entrepreneurs can bring their projects to life to support their families, and contribute to the local economy.

Let’s remove barriers!
Objectives
- Support workforce development and downtown revitalization in partnership with local employers and economic development networks.
- Provide a professional downtown studio with adequate ventilation, lighting, water access, and workspace.
- Establish a barrier-free community STEM hub featuring: 3D printing (resin & filament), laser cutting/engraving, CAD design & digital fabrication, professional digital photography & large-format printing, light metalwork and casting prototypes, and a shared tool library.
- Provide inclusive opportunities for youth, people with disabilities, and low-income residents to participate in the creative economy.
- Build gallery and event space that showcases community work and generates cultural engagement.
